NOTE we are at the West door, closer to the Double Dip, where you’ll usually see a few Skyport trucks parked. There is a short road in towards a gate, and parking is just on the grass at this side (see photo below). DO NOT go to the parking lot at the far side, this is not where we are located. We are at the door on the west side of the building, closest to the Double Dip, parking is just on the grass.
Driving Directions:
We are at the large aircraft hangar on Southside, past the main terminal but not as far as the private jet area. Go left at the roundabout by the airport, towards St Davids, and then at the 2nd roundabout by the bridge to St Georges, go all the way around to the exit that goes past the Double Dip and the softball pitch. Follow the road until you pass through an open gate, and you’ll see a big white hangar with blue trim. Turn in at that first corner of the building where there will likely be some Skyport trucks parked – that’s the West door. Please park on the grass, and do not block the gate on the paved area.
Taxi Note
If you are taking a taxi we strongly recommend booking a pickup time with your driver, as it can take quite a while (up to 45 min) to get a driver back out to the hangar.
Bus Directions:
From Hamilton‘s main bus terminal, take the 1, 3, 10, or 11 towards St Georges. Just ask the driver if they’re going all the way to St Georges, as some buses stop at Grotto Bay and don’t continue on to the airport.
From St George’s, take the 1, 3, 10 or 11 towards Hamilton.
Ask to get off at the Double Dip (an ice cream shop) in St Davids. The driver will know where that is, and tell you when you’re there. From the bus stop, walk away from the water, around the corner past the Double Dip and down the road that will pass by a softball pitch. Follow the road until you pass through an open gate, and you’ll see a big white hangar with blue trim. Head to that first corner of the building where there will likely be some Skyport trucks parked – that’s the West door.
